World’s most elite women's tennis players and tastemakers unite in Austin for a week full of fashion and philanthropy
Each February, the ATX Open brings world-class women’s tennis to Austin, welcoming some of the sport’s biggest stars for a week of elite competition and community celebration. But, everything’s bigger in Texas. And while you of course can’t miss a minute of the action on the court, the week’s social events and experiences have become social calendar staples – including the Players Party and the Ladies’ Day Brunch, two events that seamlessly blend tennis with Austin’s vibrant and burgeoning social scene.
The Players Party, hosted at the iconic Driskill Hotel, kicked off the big week, where players, partners and invited guests gathered for an evening celebrating both tennis and Austin culture. The historic downtown venue set the stage for a lively night filled with interactive experiences designed for the athletes. Here, guests could snap a quick photo for custom watercolor portraits, which artists then later transformed into painted keepsakes available for pickup during the event. Players could also create personalized luggage tags and received gifts from KREWE Sunglasses. One of the evening’s highlights was a collaborative live painting where players added their own brushstroke throughout the night. Athletes also embraced a distinctly Texas moment by crafting custom cowboy hats with West Hill Hat Collection, giving many players a memorable Austin keepsake.
Later in the week, the Ladies’ Day Brunch offered a stylish midday celebration of women’s tennis. Guests enjoyed a full-service brunch, a welcome beverage and reserved seating to watch the day’s matches. The afternoon also featured a special appearance by former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu who joined attendees for an intimate conversation about her journey on tour, the mindset required to compete at the highest level and her experiences returning to the sport after injury. Presented in partnership with gorjana, Blue Gardenia Boutique, ERLY and Eterna Jewels, along with sponsors from The Domain, the brunch brought together tennis fans, community leaders and Austin tastemakers for an afternoon celebrating both the sport and Austin’s local style.
Of course, true to the spirit of Austin, philanthropy was at the heart of the event as well. The Ladies’ Day Brunch included a Give Back While You Brunch experience supporting Dell Children’s Hospital – Central Texas’s only comprehensive pediatric hospital and Level I trauma center. Through the Prize Wall, guests could purchase a chance to select a prize envelope for gift cards from Domain favorites including Spa Réveil, Gloria’s Restaurant, Alo Yoga and Lululemon, along with KREWE sunglasses. Just in time for a Spring wardrobe refresh. All proceeds of course benefited Dell Children’s Hospital.
Between the Players Party and Ladies’ Day Brunch, and of course the world-class tennis taking place on the courts, the city was abuzz with a unique blend of sports, culture and community impact during the 2026 ATX Open.
